The trophies have been given out, toasts have been made and the canapés have been eaten. After four fantastic global events recognizing the work of organizations and individuals across the cloud industry, the Digital Revolution Awards 2023 season has come to a close.
Throughout the Digital Revolution Awards 2023 events, we saw many outstanding winners take the stage, receiving a round of applause for making a positive impact on our world through the use of cloud technology.
Now it’s time to shine a spotlight on some of those worthy victors and showcase the fantastic work that made them Digital Revolution Award winners.
In this Meet the Winners blog, we’re getting to know our Best Salesforce Partner to Work For (UK and Global) winner, Hyphen8.
Our Best Salesforce Partner to Work For award celebrates the most well-rounded Salesforce partner; one with a laser-like focus on all elements of the partner’s employee brand.
There is certainly no shortage of Salesforce Partners operating in the market today, and given the predicted growth of the ecosystem over the coming years, there are bound to be more joining the ranks in the future.
But which one offers the best experience for its employees? Which delivers the sense of purpose, belonging, and professional growth that cloud professionals want?
We were looking for a Salesforce partner that is doing great things to make its employees’ working lives better, whether through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, CSR efforts, or sustainability work. Other factors we wanted to see were an internal drive to improve employee health and wellbeing, accessible training and certification options, and a drive to diversify talent attraction and retention in the partner ecosystem.
Our winner is an organization that ticks all those boxes and more. Our judges were super impressed with the work that Hyphen8 puts into creating a caring, ethical, supportive and engaging place for Salesforce professionals to develop and grow.
Founded on a mission to deliver quality Salesforce services and give back to the communities it works in, Hyphen8 has been helping non-profits do more with the power of Salesforce for a decade.
Named Salesforce’s 2022 EMEA Non-profit Consulting Partner of the Year, Hyphen8 not only supports its charitable clients through its consultancy work but also dedicates itself to solving social challenges by donating at least 8% of its time and profits to charitable causes.
This shared sense of purpose and commitment to improving our world is a big part of what makes Hyphen8 a great workplace. The company’s focus on making life better for its employees has earned it an industry-leading retention rate of 96%.
Offering staff a wellbeing package including healthcare coverage, generous holiday allowance, and a wellbeing allowance to spend however they wish, Hyphen8 walks the walk when it comes to helping its employees stay happy and healthy.
The company is also leading by example on the inclusion front, having a majority female leadership team, a 50:50 gender balance and being one of the only female-headed Salesforce partners in the UK.
Professional development is another area in which Hyphen8 shines. Staff are encouraged to push themselves and learn new things, with quarterly study days provided to help maximize their success. Around 84% of these study days are claimed every quarter. The company also supports development by offering bonuses for earning Salesforce certifications, mentoring opportunities, and knowledge-sharing bootcamps for employees.
A friendly and sociable bunch, the Hyphen8 team can often be found frequenting restaurants, adventure golf courses, or even escape rooms together; and what bigger sign of genuine camaraderie with colleagues can there be than volunteering to be locked in a room with them?
We caught up with Hyphen8’s CEO Elaine Forth and Impact Manager Joel Aughey at the Digital Revolution Awards ceremony to chat about the team’s big win.
“I am so chuffed,” said Elaine. “This is the best award I could ever have won because to be recognized for being a great employer in this really competitive space means so much to me.”
“So we’ve won the Best Salesforce Partner to Work For,” said Joel, “and I think it’s just a testament to the amount of kind of wellbeing measures that we put in place for the team to look after them, to make them feel at home, ensure they feel like they can develop their careers while they work for us.
“It’s just been fantastic.”
“I think it’s great that you actually feel that you’re recognized within the space,” continued Elaine, “and get an opportunity to mix with different people, and at the end of the day, just have a fun night out!”
